In Death We Find Life

deathIt’s a tragedy to see someone you love in pain, whether it’s emotional or physical. It’s even more of a tragedy to see someone you love lose a battle to death.

 This weekend, I lost a friend suddenly. He was someone who was genuine, in touch with other’s souls, but someone who never found his own soul.

 Death prompts us to do some soul searching, whether we want to or not. While remembering this special person, we surround ourselves with family, friends, and loved ones in an attempt to celebrate life, rather than death. What we actually do, though, is search through our own life, our own soul, in an attempt to hang on to hope for something more fulfilling. Continue reading
